Healing after the death of a child is a long journey that never really ends. Sometimes it’s the circumstances of the death that makes it more difficult; or it may be the bond between the mother and child, or both. So true Kathleen. Unfortunately many would rather feel right than happy. Most always have an excuse or it was not their fault or the one that drives me nuts; “you misunderstood me.” :o)
Thanks Pat. The quote came to me as I researched the meaning of the words forgiveness, taking responsibility, and blame. I’m fascinated by these words that are closely related, although forgiveness stands out more because it’s a must for the good of our souls. Who we are is a very interesting and complicated subject because for the most part only God really knows the depth of our being (our souls). For a long while I’ve been interested in finding out more about the whys of who we are, and so at last I’ve been gathering information and many perspectives on the subject matter and hope to not only learn something that can help those who need healing, but to find understanding in my own healing. kat. I am so ready. . Kat XO
