Finding a way to live after the loss of a child: #quotes #grief

~ ~ ~

Healing after the death of a child is a long journey that never really ends. Sometimes it’s the circumstances of the death that makes it more difficult; or it may be the bond between the mother and child, or both. No one unless, or until they lose a child can possibly understand. I have some great support, but as from many I hear from and what I’ve seen first hand, grief is looked down upon by some which makes the healing process even harder. Part of my healing is this, writing….

Forgiveness is good for the soul & so is taking responsibility

Foregiveness TWO

By Kat

My true writing career began thirty some years ago while going through a valley, alone. I’ve come to believe that we all have a purpose in life, our path to walk.

Now that my middle son Chad Engstrom died on October 14, 2014, the rest of my life is not lived for myself, but to leave his legacy, not only because he was my son, but because of his beautiful soul.

May God guide me…. For our earthly selves are far from perfect, but may we be perfect in His love.

Thanks Pat. The quote came to me as I researched the meaning of the words forgiveness, taking responsibility, and blame. I’m fascinated by these words that are closely related, although forgiveness stands out more because it’s a must for the good of our souls. Who we are is a very interesting and complicated subject because for the most part only God really knows the depth of our being (our souls). For a long while I’ve been interested in finding out more about the whys of who we are, and so at last I’ve been gathering information and many perspectives on the subject matter and hope to not only learn something that can help those who need healing, but to find understanding in my own healing. kat. I am so ready. . Kat XO
